Happy haul pics and an iNOTD

My poster to the Association for Psychological Science's annual conference was accepted. It's a huge conference with broad scope and so it's not incredibly to my credit that I got in. Still, it'll be the first poster I've ever had and I'm first author (although the only reason I'm first author is because I'm the only one who wanted to go to Boston).

Hahaha. Yes, Boston again. What? I miss my friends and my first college reunion (near Boston) is the week after and I figure I'll swing by home in NYC in between conference and reunion. Hey, I think I can get my program to pay for my trip too since I'll be presenting! (yay)

Sooooo... I rewarded myself with a trip to the only mall within 30 miles of me (but not before hauling a few Nfu.ohs... Oops.) I'm actually in the food court debating whether I want an Orange Julius right now...

First, I hit Ross but I might end up returning most of what I bought...

Color Club Haute Browns

Art Club nail art brushes (a little steep for someone who doesn't do nail art that often at $7.99).

A set of "LDL" polishes that were mostly boring except for this one:

Vampy red (almost brown) with teal shimmer! $4.99... if that one polish is as awesome as it looks, I would consider it money well spent.

Then I went into the mall, passed on all the MAC polishes. I really like the look of Light Affair but I don't like the quality of MAC polishes. Ducked into Claire's...

A bit expensive, IMO, but cute colors. So cheerful!

Chunky Purple, Green, Silver and Blue. I'm pretty sure I bought the purple and blue from Justice already but decided to grab them just in case. If I have the Justice ones, I'll return the Claire's versions, no biggie.

14K and Green Matte. The green looks pretty but I wonder how matte matte is...

Then I hit a dusty with a couple of Omega Labs polishes. I love this brand's glitters! I'm wearing one today, Golden Magenta:

Magenta and gold glitter in a clear base. Four coats to complete opacity.

Inspired by my NOTD, I decided I needed more Omega Labs (and I can't seem to get a good picture of the one I bought)...

Midnight Blue (which has magenta and silver glitter in it), Primary Yellow and Multi Glitter. But the real score from this dusty is this:

Bling bling bling, we have a winner!! New York Summer Vegas Silver. Perfect for my happy mood. :)

Yeah, I think I'm getting an Orange Julius after all. Blogging is thirsty work. ;)
