Hello! and Goodbye (just for now)

Hello all! I apologize for my absence lately. I have been a very busy bee planning a last-minute elopement with my love! We have been engaged for over a year and a half now and we finally came to the conclusion that we don't really want a ceremony and all of that hoopla. (It's kinda hard to plan a wedding when you are enlightened to what all of the wedding traditions actually mean.) So we're eloping next week! And in the midst of planning for school this is kind of stressful and means I'm being neglectful to my nails and my stash. :-/

Fortunately, you have several amazing ladies on this blog to keep you entertained while I am busy! In the meantime, I wanted to share a picture of my last-minute dress and of my possible mani colors. I'm still trying to decide!

Now, the reason I am leaning toward black polishes is because black is one of the first nail polishes that really got me into nail polish. I found it very unique and subversive since black is not typically considered an acceptable polish color (or at least it wasn't back in the day). Furthermore, vampies make me feel sexy and confident! And also, I can be a label ho and I find it kinda fun to say I wore "Chanel" on my wedding day lol. :P I think I might put Lune D'Argent on top of whatever color I choose. Let me know your thoughts!
